By: Adam Harley
There always exists a variety of different ways to approach what you want to do. Speed reading is no different in that respect. The best way to learn how to speed read is to first get some basic and clear instructions on how to speed read, and from there, use that knowledge to teach yourself how to speed read.
Some might say that they're not good "self-teachers," or that they "don't have the time." Well, when we're talking about speed reading, then those two arguments really don't make much sense.
First of all, you don't have to be a "good self teacher" when you teach yourself how to speed read. The reason is this: speed reading is never really taught. Speed reading is a concept. There is a technique to speed reading, a method, or a "secret" if you will. Once you have the secret to speed reading, then you can simply begin. Some are of the opinion that speed reading is a constant and evolving process. One can never make it to the elite group of fast readers overnight.
With practice, you get better and better at it. You don't have to jump through any hoops, or go through any training lessons or specific routines. You can learn how to speed read however you want.
Second, not having the time to learn how to save time is just silly! And plus, learning how to speed read can take less than a day if you've got the right tools.
